Voicemail

Terms of Use

Effective September 2, 2026

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Universals, Inc. and govern your use of the Voicemail app and related services. By creating an account or using Voicemail, you agree to these terms and the Community Guidelines.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for your account, the phone number used to verify it, and activity performed through it. Provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person or create accounts for abuse.

The Service

Voicemail lets accepted contacts exchange recorded messages, transcripts, replies, reactions, and group messages. Features may change, be limited, or become unavailable. Voicemail is not a telephone carrier, emergency service, archival system, or guaranteed delivery service. Do not rely on it for emergencies or time-sensitive communications.

Your Content

You retain ownership of recordings, transcripts, names, and other content you provide. You give Universals a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, translate when requested, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support Voicemail and comply with law. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to send your content and that doing so does not violate another person's rights.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Voicemail to threaten, harass, exploit, defraud, impersonate, spam, distribute unlawful or infringing material, expose another person's private information, interfere with the service, bypass security or limits, scrape user data, or facilitate illegal activity. The Community Guidelines provide additional examples.

Moderation and Enforcement

We may investigate reports, preserve relevant information, restrict features, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect people, or protect the service. We are not required to monitor every message and cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be detected.

Third-Party Services

Voicemail depends on Apple, Google Firebase, ElevenLabs for requested translation, telecommunications providers, and internet services. Their systems and terms may affect availability. If you download Voicemail from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your license to use the app. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Voicemail.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and delete information. By using the service, you acknowledge those practices.

Termination

You may stop using Voicemail at any time and may delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access when you materially or repeatedly violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or when necessary to protect users or the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Disclaimers and Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Voicemail is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, delivery, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Universals will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, or lost profits arising from the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and Contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post revised terms here and update the effective date. Continued use after the revised terms take effect means you accept them. Questions can be sent to support@universals.co.
