Voicemail

Community Guidelines

Effective September 2, 2026

Voicemail is for personal communication between accepted contacts. These guidelines apply to recordings, transcripts, usernames, group names, replies, reactions, invitations, and other activity in the service.

Respect People

Do not bully, harass, stalk, threaten, shame, or encourage others to target someone. Do not use slurs or attack people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious disease, or other protected characteristics.

Protect Safety

Do not make credible threats, encourage violence or self-harm, coordinate dangerous activity, exploit vulnerable people, or share instructions intended to cause serious harm. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Voicemail is not an emergency service.

Protect Children

Sexual exploitation or endangerment of minors is prohibited. This includes sexual content involving minors, grooming, coercion, sextortion, or attempts to obtain sexual material from a minor. We may report apparent child exploitation to appropriate authorities.

Respect Privacy and Consent

Do not share another person's phone number, address, private recording, intimate material, financial information, credentials, or other sensitive information without permission. Do not record or distribute conversations in violation of applicable consent laws.

No Fraud, Impersonation, or Spam

Do not impersonate people or organizations, run scams, solicit credentials or money through deception, send repeated unwanted messages or invitations, manipulate connection requests, or use automation to create accounts or message people.

Illegal and Infringing Content

Do not use Voicemail to facilitate illegal transactions or activity. Send only content you own or have permission to use. Do not violate copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other rights.

Reporting and Blocking

Use the in-app controls to report a message or account and to block an account. A report may include a short transcript excerpt and message information so we can review it. We review reports as promptly as reasonably possible and prioritize credible threats, child safety, and other urgent harms. For additional safety help, email support@universals.co. Reports should be made in good faith and must not be used to harass others.

Enforcement

Depending on severity, context, and history, we may warn an account, limit features, remove content, suspend or terminate access, preserve relevant records, or contact appropriate authorities. We may act on behavior outside Voicemail when it creates a credible safety risk within the service. You may ask us to review an enforcement decision by emailing support@universals.co.

Updates

We may update these guidelines as the service and safety risks change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
